Psychological Assessments

Psychological assessments provide valuable insights into a person’s emotional, cognitive, and behavioural functioning. At the Wellness & Healing Psychology & Counselling Centre, we offer comprehensive assessments to support diagnosis, guide therapy, and assist with access to services such as the NDIS. Our assessments are conducted by qualified mental health professionals in a respectful, confidential setting.

What Are Psychological Assessments?

Psychological assessments are structured evaluations used to understand a person’s thinking, emotions, behaviour, and overall mental health. They help diagnose conditions, guide treatment, and support access to services like the NDIS or educational support.

NDIS Related Assessment

We provide comprehensive psychological assessments to support access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). These assessments evaluate psychological and emotional functioning to identify appropriate support needs. All reports are professionally prepared to meet NDIS standards.

ADHD Assessments

Our ADHD assessments focus exclusively on adults, helping to identify symptoms of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. We use a combination of clinical interviews, behavioural observations, and validated questionnaires to provide a clear diagnostic understanding and tailored recommendations for support or treatment.

What it helps with:

  • Understanding attention, focus, and impulsivity challenges
  • Supporting education, work, and home adjustments
  • Informing therapy

Mental Health Diagnosis

A formal mental health assessment assists in identifying or clarifying mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, and other psychological conditions. An accurate diagnosis is essential for effective treatment planning and can support access to services or workplace and educational accommodations.

Assessments include clinical interviews and standardised psychometric testing.
