YOUR Wellbeing - Looking after your health

Many people are great at looking after their families and keeping them healthy. Yet, sometimes can tend to lose sight of or neglect their own social and emotional well-being. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and there are many things you can do to keep healthy. This could be achieved by having a balanced healthy diet, regular exercise, getting plenty of sleep and taking part in activities you enjoy with family and friends which can enhance your overall well-being. When you realise your batteries are low and need to be recharged, it is important to keep doing things you enjoy the most regularly.
  • Depression: Depression can make you feel isolated. Depression is a common mental disorder that causes people to experience depressed mood, loss of interest or pleasure, feelings of guilt or low self-worth, disturbed sleep or appetite, low energy, and poor concentration. Whether you're concerned about yourself or a loved one, get in touch with us to arrange an appointment.

  • Anxiety: Anxiety can affect us all in different ways and at different times. Whereas stress is something that will come and go as the external factor causing it (be it a work, relationship or money problems, etc.) Anxiety is something that can persist whether or not the cause is clear to the sufferer.

Self-esteem & Personal Growth

Our self-esteem is how we value and perceive ourselves. If you have low self-esteem you may feel like: you hate or dislike yourself, worthless or not good enough, unable to make decisions or assert yourself, blame yourself for things that aren't your fault, guilt for spending time or money on yourself, unable to recognise your strengths, undeserving of happiness and low in confidence. Having little self-belief can stop you from living the life you want to live. If you think your low self-esteem is impacting on your life, get in touch with us.
